As one of 10 works in the project "10 Vietnamese Women", the work honors Ba Huyen Thanh Quan (1805 - 1848). The female artist's real name is Nguyen Thi Hinh, also a famous poet in Vietnamese history. Her style of writing is "borrowing scenes to talk about love", evoking nostalgia for a golden age along with the endless pain of the country's scene through paintings depicting heartbreakingly beautiful scenes
